HOT DOG LUNCH FUNDRAISER OCTOBER 16

Help raise funds for the Junior class mission trip. Lunch includes: hot dog, bag of chips, drink and dessert.  PREORDERS ONLY. You may turn your order form in to your homeroom teacher or the office by Monday, October 13.

November's lunch orders are due October 19. Log into the FACTS Family Portal, click on Student, then Lunch, then Create Web Order to submit your order. If you want to help serve lunch, sign up for a slot on our Sign Up Genius!

OPERATION CHRISTIMAS CHILD

Calhoun Christian School is partnering with Samaritan's Purse to bring the gospel (and a Christmas gift) to children all around the world. Check out their website for more info. 
We are giving two opportunities for our families to participate. 
1.     Fill a Shoebox.  Boxes can be picked up at the school from Mrs. Rome. 
2.     Bring an approved “WOW” item and place it in the bins located in the elementary hallway. [ALL WOW items must be small enough to fit in a shoebox]
• WOW boy items: small backpack, soccer ball and pump, stuffed animal, hobby kit, large toy truck or car, other large toy
• WOW girl items: small backpack or purse, doll, soccer ball and pump, stuffed animal, jewelry making or hobby kit, large toy
The toys we collect will be taken to a packing party at Calvary Baptist Church on November 10-14, 1 pm – 7 pm and November 15, 10 am – 12 pm.  If you are interested in helping or have questions, please contact Mrs. Rome : Diane.Rome@calhounchristian.org.   We are collecting from October 1-31.  Drop-off is located in the elementary hallway.

YEARBOOK CLASS 2nd SEMESTER

We would greatly appreciate receiving pictures you take of our CCS students in action during various school sponsored events!  This will help ensure our hard-working yearbook students get ahead start before class starts next semester.

Box Tops for Education

Did you know that CCS is a Box Top school?  Help us reach our yearly goal of $500 by signing up to support CCS on the Box Top for Education app and scanning your Box Top receipts throughout the year.  And good news-there is a SPECIAL bonus going on for the month of October! For every person that downloads the app, signs up on a mobile device using this link https://btfe.smart.link/c2jjdifkw?referral_code=PFK74O4E&school_id=112468  and scans any receipt (it does not have to have a Box Top item on it to qualify for this particular bonus), our school will receive $10.  That's the same as 100 Box Tops!!  You must sign up using the link above to receive the bonus.  After signing up in the app, remember to scan any receipt as the bonus isn't credited until after that first scan.  Thank you for going the extra mile for our school.

ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

The Elementary Christmas Program [k-4] is Thursday, December 4 at 6 pm! Students should wear Christmas colors and bring a scarf, hat, and mittens.
