UNION CITY TORNADO RECOVERY – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are planning on taking a group of HS students sometime next week to help with the tornado clean up. We are waiting to hear from the clean-up supervisors for exact details.  We know volunteers will need to be prepared to wear boots and gloves and protective eye gear.  We need drivers and adults.  If you are interested, please contact the office to be put on a list, or email Mr. or Mrs. Rome.  Robert.rome@calhounchristian.org   or Diane.Rome@calhounchristian.org.  Thank you!

REENROLLMENT IS MARCH 2-20

Current families have first dibs on spots for the 2026-2027 school year, if reenrollment is completed between March 2-20. A few notes below plus check out the attachment for more details: 
•    Complete reenrollment between March 2-20 via the FACTS Family Portal
•    The Financial Aid Application is now open for current families who may not be able to attend CCS otherwise. Log into the FACTS Family Portal, select Financial, then off on the right under Financial Links, select Apply for Aid
•    New children to CCS can apply now for next year via the FACTS Family Portal, under Apply/Enroll – click Application to begin 
 

KINDERGARTEN + PRESCHOOL ROUNDUP MARCH 19

We need your help spreading the word about our school! In particular, our preschool and kindergarten roundup is coming on Thursday, March 19 at 6:00pm. Attached is a flier for you to forward to friends or family if they are interested - also, our current preschoolers are welcome to join that evening to find out what Kindergarten would be like at CCS.
 

APRIL LUNCH ORDERS OPEN - Due Mar 19

April's lunch orders are open and due March 19; log into the FACTS Family Portal, click on Student, then Lunch, then Create Web Order to submit your order. If you want to help serve lunch to help count towards service hours, sign up for a slot on our Sign Up Genius!

HELP US GET THE WORD OUT ABOUT CCS!

We need your help! We would like to get the word out to the community about our school. Word of mouth seems to be the way many families hear about CCS.

Would you be willing to take/send the "About CCS" page to your church, workplace, gym, etc?

We have copies in the office if you would like them preprinted. A PDF is attached.

Thank you for everything you do for CCS - it would be so hard to make this place run well without our CCS families!

FOLLIES 2026 

We are hosting Follies on Friday, April 17 at 6:00pm.  Follies is a Mission Trip Fundraiser put on by the Class of 2026. All of our preschool and elementary students will be in an act through their music class!

FIRE FALL MINISTRIES PRESENTS

Join this amazing group of God loving, worship team as they lead us in worship to our God.  This free event is open to all and will take place on March 21 at 6 pm in the CCS gym.

NOW HIRING!

CCS is looking to hire students 16 years of age and older, interested in working in our before school program (M-F 6:55-7:30 a.m.) and/or our after school program (2:55-4:30 p.m.) for the 2026-2027 school year. Please contact melissa.pidcock@calhounchristian.org for more details.

TRACK:  HS track practice starts Monday, March 9 at 3:30 pm at Battle Creek Central High School. More details forthcoming and based upon the St Phil Basketball team’s schedule.
