NEW – SUBMIT ABSENCES ONLINE! 

If your child will be absent or late for any reason, we need a notification from parents to the office. You now have 3 options to submit your notification: via phone (269-965-5560), email (office@calhounchristian.org) or by submitting it on our website under CCS Families > Absence Notification. You will need to log in with your FACTS Family Portal credentials to submit. If your child will be absent for more than 1 day, we also have an Expected Absence form that can be used to gather expected classwork from teachers.

HOT LUNCH ORDERS OPEN

December's lunch orders are due November 19. Log into the FACTS Family Portal, click on Student, then Lunch, then Create Web Order to submit your order. If you want to help serve lunch, sign up for a slot on our Sign Up Genius!

SOUL BLAST

Soul Blast, hosted at Friends Church, is November 7th - 9th. CCS students are invited to attend.  We are looking for chaperones for one or two days and nights for both male and female students.  If you are willing to help, please contact Heidi Romine at hmromine@gmail.com or 269-719-5889. LET’S HONOR OUR HEROES!

This year CCS will honor veterans by displaying a Wall of Honor. We are asking families to make a mini poster for a display. We are sending home copies with Elementary and Middle School families.   Please use the attached file or pick up a copy in the office.  Please return these by Friday, November 7 so that we can display them for Veterans' Day!

SCENTSY FUNDRAISER 

The Alpha-Bots Robotics team and members of Lego Clubs invite you to support a Scentsy Fundraiser.  See the attached flier for more information.

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT

Need a date night or a night to shop for Christmas? Enjoy a night out on the town, shop til you drop or stay home for a relaxing movie night, all the while helping missions at CCS! Fill out the registration form by November 4 and we will take care of the rest! See the attached information!

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY

Wednesday, November 26 our school will be hosting our annual Grandparents' Day from 10am-11:15am.  Check out the information attached.  

BOOK FAIR

I:55 Book Fair is coming to CCS. Starting November 17 from 2:45 pm until 3:30 pm each day until Grandparents’ Day on November 26 stop by the library and shop the book fair!  On Grandparents' Day, the book fair will be open 10:00 am – until 11:30 am.

YEARBOOK CLASS 2nd SEMESTER

We would greatly appreciate receiving pictures you take of our CCS students in action during various school sponsored events!  This will help ensure our hard-working yearbook students get ahead start before class starts next semester.

PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

The Preschool and Elementary Christmas Program [pre-k-4th] is Thursday, December 4 at 6 pm! Students should wear Christmas colors and bring a scarf, hat, and mittens.
